davem1 Hi. I was wondering if anyone still has the Melbourne 2006 DVD on their computer. Right now there are 8 peers and no seeders. I am at 98.5%. I'd really appreciate if someone could help us finish it off. Thanks.

Erik_Snow I just wondered if somebody else has problems with downloading today? I've been trying to do the Rio documentary and Whorses In The Night for 14 hours. But it stays at 0%.
22nd October 2006 08:31 PM
andrews27 Whores in the Night is weird. I tried all day yesterday to get it with 2 seeders/1 leecher (me). I gave up until now, when I saw that people had jumped on after my SOS. When I checked the file properties for what I already had, it said it was only 1 MB short of the full DL. But when I started it in uTorrent, it was only 13.9% done. At least it's going now...I think. uTorrent client shows no peers, no pieces...but a 52 kb/s DL and 17 kb/s UL. OK never mind - peers, pieces, files all just clicked in on client. Good luck to all involved. Hope the guy at 86% stays on to seed...please!! If anybody else wants this...This Could Be The Last Time. May be the last time, I don't know... (Oh, no!)

Erik_Snow Thanks Andrew!
I'm fairly new to this downloading stuff (4 months since I started), but I've been using BitTorrent only. Perhaps I should get a different software then. (unless I misunderstood your post)
22nd October 2006 08:59 PM
andrews27 BT has been weird for me lately, too, since I upgraded to XP. If you're the guy under 100% right now, can you stick around and seed for about four hours, please? THANKS

And since somebody's **remastering 1981**, one prime candidate is *MSG November 12, 1981,* up now on RO. I was at the lucky 13th, through postcard lottery.

Erik_Snow I'm at 0% unfortunately....don't like it down here
22nd October 2006 09:16 PM
andrews27 I can't see you at all on my client. Are you firewalled? Either way, you may want to remove the torrent from your client, shut down the client (BT), then restart it and re-DL the torrent. Mine is going at a respectable clip now, around 40 kb/s.
22nd October 2006 09:20 PM
Erik_Snow Yes, I quitted, and I'm downloading Azarus right now. I'll have a try with that programme. If it doesn't work, I'll just have to find that tracker manually and give it some good beatings, I suppose it's over in UK somewhere...

edit: It's working now, after I installed Azarus! Thanks for your help, Andrew!

andrews27 I believe I see you up there, under a Scandinavian flag. I'll leave it up late so you can finish.
