glencar Joshy, LIR was originally on the Spanish version of Sticky Fingers because Franco wouldn't allow the druggy "Sister Morphine" to pass muster.

Saint Sway over the Christmas Holiday, I must of recieved about $100 worth in Starbucks gift certificates.

thats a lot of money to spend just on coffee.

still, I have no intentions of buying "Rarities".

its not bad at all. Most of the songs are quite good.

I think its a good and interesting buy for the casual fan.

but for the truly devoted fan, its a slap in the face

I've spent my money over the last decade buying most of these songs on expensive import cd singles, the rest were available on officially released albums.

there is no reason to buy this record. Its like buying "Jump Back"

jb We buy it so that it will hit 50k US sales which qualifies for "Blue Ribbon" status.

Nellcote This project is about timing, not content.
Every tour a retrospective is put out for cash, whether it's the current record label, or former labels.
Jagger did not attend London School for Economics
to learn dance moves.
Or have financial advisors such as Prince Rupert.
Or have multi page articles in WSJ, Forbes attesting
to their savvy business acumen.
Just The Stones being The Stones.
They owe us nothing.

Some Guy I still enjoy this cd.
2 have sold recently from my favorite Starbucks, but ABB remains untouched.
I check it out while I get a coffee.

Jagger didnt attend the LSE to study Economics either. This theory that's unearthed every time theres a debate on the Stones and their wealth which suggests that he learned his business acumen at the LSE is a bit misleading - as far as I recall, he studied politics (and another subject, which escapes me at the minute) and he didnt even complete his course anyway
