MOV files (a QuickTime video format) are supported by Nero Vision. It is recommended to install the latest version of QuickTime Player on your system so that Nero Vision is able to access the latest Codecs of QuickTime

Lineage : binaural mics>MD Sharp MT877>Sony MDSE10>Macintosh>Amadeus

Taped & edited by mickduroc
This is a good audience recording, taped from B-stage right side (I know that it's by far not the best place to tape, but I wanted to have once the boys very close to my eyes.... and the venue was totally packed (42600), thus crowd noises, handclappings, chanting...
A few rec. level adjustments had to be done during the show.
The sound is quite good BUT for the 3 numbers performed on B-Stage. Several sound problems occured there (Jagger's mic was'nt working well), and a severe echo (add wind and a stadium) . Just listen to the weird intro of Honky Tonk Woman, where Keith and Mick can't really start playing.
For some reason, after they went back on the main stage, the sound was not so crisp anymore.
Hope you enjoy it, anyway
I have arranged some artwork using pix from iorr or rocksoff, but I'm no specialist. So, feel free do to a better one.

I wonder if this is created from the mp3 files available.
Just one word to mp3 here. It is a shame that on a so-called "fan"-site (you all know which one I mean, its from Norway) five of the last shows from the Bigger Bang tour have been uploaded as mp3 only! I have to say it over and over again: mp3 is a crime to the music itself!!!
Just read this article and you'll know what I'm talking about:

G. The Cock.
Couldn't help but notice that article was written by the same Joel Selvin who flunked me in History of Rock & Roll class at San Francisco State University. Just because I went to a Ronnie book signing in Hollywood the day of the final exam. Rumors were floating around that Ronnie was going to play with Bo Diddley the night before in a bar there (he didn't). I wasn't allowed to do a make up on another day either.
Hmmmm.... come to think of it he never played a Stones song the whole semester. Guess the Stones aren't important enough, but Wayne Newton is.

Copenhagen - perhaps mp3? But the size on the RO tracker is 707 MB!
How do you explain that?
And - CAN AN I-POD RECORD IN WAV??! If so, which model? Very interested to know for future recordings!

Very simple:
You have to decode MP3 to WAV, then encode WAV to FLAC, that's all.
But the original source is MP3, it doesn't matter the final size of the FLACs. You'll not recover audio quality because you're decoding MP3 to FLACs.

D015 LIKE A ROLLING STONE
D015 presents 20 songs from five venues. Though all are pro-shot, sound and picture quality vary from poor to fine. Things start badly in Rio 1990, with five songs dragged back through the foggy ruins of time in what looks and sounds like the 59th copy of a TV original. Because of the poor presentation, these songs - Tambourine Man, LARS, Wind, Watchtower and Lay Lady Lay - were an ordeal to sit through. Neither did things improve with the next track, also from Rio in 1998, of Bob standing in with the Stones on another Rolling Stone. Picture again poor, Bob has mike trouble, lyrics are mangled (principally by Jagger) and hapless Mr D ambles aimlessly round the stage looking like a bloke on day-release from the old folks home.
But then, just when you need them to, things look up. We roll on (back?) to Seville ‘91 for the complete Guitar Legends set. Sound and picture are now just fine. Bob still looks less than half interested as he works through Watchtower then Boots. Incidentally, just today I happened to hear his exquisite rendition of Boots from Carnegie Hall 1963. Compare that lovingly-delivered take to this Seville one and see for yourselves just how little he now chooses to get by on most of the time. But there’s the rub. That’s what keeps us enthralled - for though it might be most of the time, it isn’t all. And just to prove it, ole Bob now drops in the first of this disc’s three treasures - a lovely Borderline, played on his acoustic with just Richard Thompson alongside. Answer Me - which doesn’t quite come off - and Shake, Rattle and Roll (yawn) close out his set.
Next stop Nara, Japan. Sound and picture both again very good and straight into a version of Hard Rain you’ll perhaps never see bettered (though Renaldo & Clara’s is also pretty choice, as is D236.su's too). Bob sang in the ’60s “sometimes it gets so hard to care” and you don’t have to watch too many of these stolen performances to realise that he’s come to learn the bitter truth of that line. But, singing this beautifully-paced and gorgeously-delivered Hard Rain, whether because of the discipline imposed on him by the orchestra or for whatever other reason, he really does live it, feel it, breathe it. I Shall Be Released and Ring Them Bells follow - both okay but neither lend themselves as readily to this sort of arrangement and neither takes off as Hard Rain does. This show then closes, Last Waltz-style, with an ensemble repeat of I Shall Be Released.
Finally, and pictorially best of all, to Hyde Park 1996 and five songs - Pill-Box Hat, Tom Thumb, Silvio, 4th Street and H61 - of the nine that were played (with Seven Days one of those missing). First and last are okay, Silvio (as always, for it‘s one of his least-endearing songs) is a drag, 4th Street is taken slow and, though enjoyable, can't quite eclipse the memory of the benchmark ‘86 Petty/Heartbreakers version - and then there’s Tom Thumb, third sparkling treasure of this disc and what makes all the other stuff worth sitting through. Look out here for the band's garish Mr Byrite job-lot blue suits, Ron Wood, Al Kooper and (briefly) M&A animal wrangler-to-be Val Kilmer.
All that’s what I think, but then I’m a funny sod (or so my wife says), so the best advice I can give you is this: rather than take my word for it, seek this disc out and have fun making up your own minds. |

Gothenburg Aug. 3rd 2007 cuts by amm" - DVD PAL - NOT complete !

Rolling Stones "Gothenburg Aug. 3rd 2007 cuts by amm" - DVD PAL - NOT complete !
Here are some cuts from the Ullevi, Gothenburg, Sweden show on August 3rd 2007.
It's 100% an audience recording!
6 songs are done with the new Casio EX-V7 camera that I did buy the day before the show and
3 songs with my old Casio Exlime 600P camera. The new one is good, but I did some experiments
with the "auto" settings that I might not should have done - You'll get lot's of colors and also some
"white" faces here and there, but still I got the feeling that it's worth uploading....
So here you can get ab. 50 min on a DVD with 6 full songs and 3 not complete.
Again: IT'S IN NO WAY "PRO-SHOT" !
What you can see are most from the big screen. Not many "heads" and "arms", but they can
as "always" be found. (please see screenshots)
Sound is ok, but nothing more - still some should be in some kind of stereo.
Ullevi, Gothenburg, Sweden
Friday August 3, 2007
1-Intro/Start Me Up - 4:53
2-Ain't Too Proud To Beg - 4:02
3- Midnight Rambler (very small cut at ab. 9:50) - 11:27
4-Tumbling Dice (cut) - 2:54
5-Keith intro/You Got The Silver - 3:48
6-Wanna Hold You - 4:26
7-Honky Tonk Women - only last part - 3:13
8-Sympathy For The Devil - 5:56
9-Brown Sugar - 9:11
Total time ab. 50 min
With menu (not good at all. new camera gave MOV-files so I had to find a new
video editing program "Ulead VideoStudio 10 (Trial)" - seems to be a nice one,
but not easy to use when you only have been dealing with that simple NERO earlier.
Some screenshots will be up soon.
I'll make some artwork later, but for sure someone - will have their version up earlier ;-)

After so many lossy recordings of recent ABB Shows available, here is one right from a DAT Master!
Superb sound with some audience noise as always - especially in Germany - but all in all a fiery show
and fantastic recording! Please check the samples posted under comments below and judge yourself,
but it really feels like being there (again) while listening on your home stereo turned on maximum volume!
I don't know many Stones audience recordings sounding better...
Aside of a short cut within "Start Me Up" (I kicked off the recorder accidentally while adjusting the
recording level - blame me for being a bit nervous on my first recording since more than ten years)
the recording is without flaws. Due to the half closed roof, there's some echo in Mick's voice,
but it ain't that bad.
Artwork is included to the torrent.
Share this recording freely and do not sell on eBay. Please add the original info file and artwork when posting on
another torrent site, and ...
... DO NOT TRANSFER TO MP3 FOR SHARING ANYWHERE !!!
You should respect my, the taper's, wish to see my recording spread widely, but always in lossless form!
I dedicate this one to my lovely wife Iris, without her support this upload would not have been possible!
stoned greetings
