http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=154858
This is a very nice audience recording of the Rolling Stones one week into their 1973 European tour, their last with Mick Taylor. I rate it as one of the top 5 recordings of the tour. The Stones are playing in front of their home town crowd and Mick J. is obviously pleased to be there. Great performance.
This recording has been previously released on 3 other CDs but this new version on the "Devil's Breath" label is the best yet. It's supposedly from the master tape. Read a detailed review here: http://www.boot-review.com/page34.html. What this review does not mention is that this version runs too fast. Therefore, for your listening pleasure, I have pitch corrected this seed by -3%. Lineage is silver CD->CDR->EAC->Cool Edit Pro (pitch correction)->CD Wave (cue sheet)->foobar2000 (FLAC 1.1.4)->you. Sorry, no art.

Just saw your question TumblinDice - yes sure, grab Ahmet Ertegun Thank You Kindly.
I did get the C2C release back then, and quite frankly I never bothered to check out the VGP cd - as I knew C2C was the best. So - I don't know the exact difference between them. |

I had the same question when I checked the uploaded files ... are these interviews and/with the official release of those songs ? |

Yes, I think they are the interviews with the official release of these songs. Deleting the official part and leaving only the interview would be a nice way to share this bootleg. Any audio editor could do this job.

in one of the newsgroups about 3 weeks ago. |

Yes, but the .wav files are generated from the mp3 source! I did a frequency analysis and spectral view using EAC and it turned out as lossy! |
