Simply said: forget it! The sound quality is average for Stones terms at best. Better than the incomplete Madrid mp3 crap posted on IORR before, but as I remember - I have to compare yet - Barcelona seems to be even worse than the first available audience tape.

I listened to the first half of Madrid and thoroughly enjoyed the performance a lot more than some of the better quality shows.
Here is a total kick ass non Stones torrent of a gig I unearthed that I know will have a lot of appeal to some posters here:

The 6/28 Madrid show was just amazing. They hit the stage firing on all cylinders. I hope tbe 6/23 Lisbon gig shows up soon as well. |

No recordings in circulation for that show. Apart from what's included in Get Yer Ya Yas Out and the Gimme Shelter DVD. |

the footage on Four Flicks comes from the Wiltern Theatre, LA on 4.11.02. 'Rock Me baby', 'Bitch' and (I think) the clip of 'Everybody needs somebody' with Solomon Burke are also from that show.
you have that show? Anyone have? If yes please email me at [email protected]

I can only confirm what G. said: Forget it! These SODD releases are far from being good. The bonus CDRs are even worse than the pressed "main" CDs. |

Magnificent upload at Dime :
Knoxville 1972
One of the best Stones concerts ever (IMO), in better quality than previously available.
Grab it, before you have to buy the DAC CD...

Is it really THAT good?
I don´t remember exactly how it compares to the VGP CD because I tossed that right after I listened to it...
I got this disc during one of my very first mail trades in the 90s and if I had known it was such a huge upgrade I would have uploaded it earlier! |

Hope I didn't make people believe that it is a whole new source for Knoxville 1972...
It's still nothing for hi-fi freaks.
But it is magnificent to get an upgrade of such a cooking show - when the listening-experience turn from "straining" to "enjoyable".
I have my Drippin Honey CD locked up far away from me right now, so I can not compare exactly. But there's no doubt that this upload beats the VGP....the VGP CD sounds like it was recorded in the attic of the Civic Coliseum.
THis torrent of yours is quite better, thanks!

So demonoid is apparently up again but blocking Canadian traffic. This is the message I get here in Montreal when trying to connect to demonoid:
"We received a letter from a lawyer represeting the CRIA, they were threatening with legal action and we need to start blocking Canadian traffic because of this. If you reside in Canada, that is the reason you are being redirected to this message. Thanks for your understanding, and sorry for any inconvenience."
Does anyone know if there is a demonoid mirror somewhere or if there is a way to sneak in demonoid's back door?
Thanks,

from torrentfreak.com :

For anyone who can’t access Demonoid anymore, you can install the following Switchproxy addon for Firefox.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/125
Then google your way around for proxy lists and tutorials (if you haven’t used proxies before), and you’ll be back in business. I used to do this when my ISP was blocked by demonoid a few months ago. Browsing becomes a little slower but imo this is the best way for a workaround.
If you can access the site using proxy but the tracker cannot be accessed by your torrent client, there are proxy workarounds for that too depending on the client you use.
