December 25th, 2004 04:57 AM
marko Well, well,i bought to myself Complete series of Battlestar
Galactica! Wonderfull,,,its a nice box set+ one single dvd.
Containing 24hours of stuff,+3hours of extra footage.

I also bought some time ago 2 Babylon 5 sets,the 2 first
seasons,must get all 5 seasons.Love this one,ex script.
Is it any true, that guy,Michael Strazinski, wrote the entire
story at once!?

does anyone else here love these series,,,oh and dont forget star trek!

mac_daddy battlestar galactica was on the air when i was a kid - i dug it then, with loren greene as the big boss, and the dude that was later on the ateam as one of the hotshot pilots. what i really wanted was one of those robotic dogs (or was it a bear) that the kid had...

they are remaking battlestar gallactica for the scifi channel, to air soon...

as for baby5 - i was never able to get into star trek - any of its incarnations...

Sir Stonesalot How about "Space: 1999"? Remember that one? I think I still have one of those Moonbase Transports in my parents attic. I'll have to check what those things go for on Ebay.

There was another one about that time called "Quark". It was about the crew of an intergalactic garbage skowe. Sorta a sci-fi sitcom.

That's right, Face was on battlestar, forgot about that

The A-team, now that was a classic tv show.

Ten Thousand Motels Lost in Space.....real cornball shit.
December 26th, 2004 01:22 PM
Ten Thousand Motels Now does the Twilight Zone count as Sci-fi???? For the last several years the Sci-fi channel has run a marathon over New Years, which they're doing again this year. For early tv that was pretty good. Rod Serling was the shit as far as I'm concerned....a genius.

I remember that! There was a stupid robot and a really pain in ass guy, I don't remember his name anymore...Dr Smith or something.
I use to watching also Ultramen, I think it was Japa, and
from far the worst of all.

These days I like only two TV series - ER and Alias.

Starbuck i taped every episode of battlestar galactica from reruns when i was about 12 or 13 and watched them all repeatedly. i seriously was a chunky dork at the time, but thanks to exile i became the shining hunk of man-poster you all see before you today...

battlestar would have continued, but the writing was almost as bad as joey's posts. seriously, some of the worst dialogue in TV history. the special effects were top notch, though. john dykstra kicked butt!

still, besides having a massive crush on daisy duke, battlestar galactica proved my introduction to girls. i've had a crush on jane seymour since 1978:

...and the less known actress who played athena, maren jensen:
