Well, really, its 81. But the movie came out in 82.
Or was that 83?
You know, i love that era. I had my darling Jayne as a gal. I still see her too. I had a lovely huge Ford Falcon, which i wrote off twice due to drugs/drink. I would party from Friday to Sunday. It was the grand era of the teen movie. Fraternity Vacation, Joysticks, Hamburger High, Friday the 13 (especially part 3 in 3D). and so many others.
Also, Speilberg was hot with ET and Poltergeist. Boy did i fall in love with Jo Beth Williams from Poltergeist. What a top MILF! I love that look of oversized football jumper & "cotton tail" panties.
Then there's chicks with fluffy hair. leg warmers. Thick pubes. O.J. Simpson flogging cowboy boots in Penthouse. Australia won the America's Cup, we got our 1st video player.
Yeah, the 80's man. It was cool. |

Though I love the 81 version of Under My Thumb, you just can't beat the 69 version. Listen to the sound of the guitars.......more bluesy and rocking than the 81 sound. |

The St Louis 81 version kicked serious ass....I think....it's been a long time and I have never seen a boot of that show.
Social D' throws that track hard sometimes as well.

The mix of UNDER MY THUMB that appears on FORTY LICKS is quite nice. IT'S ALL OVER NOW also sounds great on LICKS.
The SACD of 12 x 5 is also an improved sounding piece of work.
The best sounding SACD is LET IT BLEED.
Go ahead and buy these discs for the holidays, you are worth it ! |
