Hmmmmm........that's a tough sale. Pug was upset at the lower prices afforded to South American/Euro audiences as this will hurt profits. I think we can expect b/t 29-34k?
December 19th, 2005 07:00 PM
VoodooChileInWOnderl These are the prices for Monterrey, ALL IN $ USD

GENERAL $36
ZONA DE GOL NORTE GENERAL $96
PREFERNTE, BUTACA, PLATEA TODAS GENERAL $240
VIPALCO GENERAL $272
BRONCE NUMERADO $300
PLATA NUMERADO $360
ORO NUMERADO $420

This counts the ticketbastard charge but NOT the SHIPPING charge and NOT the rs.com membership, that's why I paid $447 USD for one ticket

Thankfully Miami was a sell out and due to last minute manuevers, so was Soldier Field, but my enjoyment may be short lived with the two UC shows!
December 19th, 2005 10:57 PM
jb Jake Cohl will save Chicago's 1st show in 06.........Ft. Lauderdale is last ever and will sell out.

Major cities will get shows in Sept
Boston
NYC
Philly
LA
Chicago

Sadly, no Miami, Omaha, Little Rock, or Memphis. Denver sales were also too weak, thus causing Jake and Michael to cancel Sept Denver show
December 19th, 2005 11:17 PM
voodoopug you bring hope to a grim situation my young voodoo...make us (true stones fans) proud!!

Josh, I don't see your point and I don't get your permanet bitching. The sales in Mexico are really good, I don't give a fuck if U2 sells more and faster.

The prices here were really high, see above $447 per ticket in a country like this is a sample that we here have the fans doing the biggest effort to get tickets, and one show 55K is already sold out making sales bigger than many venues in the USA, Monterrey will be another sold out soon

So why bitching about U2 or prices or sold out shit if the Stones are coming to town to rock like a bastards. They always play in a different atmosphere in Latin Countries

To give you examples

  • Check thsi review by someone who has seen the stones in many many countries http://iorr.org/rew97/mexico2.htm
  • Recently Bjornulf Vik answered a question about the best places to see the Stones in Europe and guess what? ...Italy, Portugal and Spain were the countries he mentioned, all of them are Latin countries
  • Argentina is considered by many fans the best place to see the Stones, and many of them just based on videos of live shows, not after feeling the Latin heat
  • Here we don't give a fuck about who's selling or buying or stealing more, we just wanna rock

Come one and feel the latin heat here, feel it live!!! You will be greeted by the Voodoo

This is the IORR review by Ed Beaver of the last show in Mexico City

This will be a short review. I am simply exhausted... It may be because I had such a great time up front during the show, or it may be the air in Mexico. Probably both.

First I would like to say: Mexico City, I love you!. I've seen the Rolling Stones in 16 coutries across the world over the years, but the Mexican fans is by far the most kind and polite friends to share a concert with. While it's great fun to get really sweaty and worn out at Wembley, all the kindness of people next to you makes it so much easier to really enjoy the show.

And what a show... As I said, I was lucky to be on row one, dead center....

My dearest li'l bro why did you do that, you paid a $100 USD membership and bought general admission tix!!!
December 20th, 2005 04:19 PM
rogerriffin yes carnalito, but i´m in!

tomorrow will be a great desmadre to get 330 and 880 tickets, i choose paid more but get tickets safely.

December 20th, 2005 04:37 PM
VoodooChileInWOnderl I'm sure they will be gone in seconds as they are the "cheapest" so in one way or another you are right

You have two chances to buy tickets as you only bought a couple, so probably someone reading this will be willing to share the cost of the membership and get the $447 USD tix
