The edition is dated Jan 2004, but I bought the last one at my local newstand. |

mine doesnt have a price on his head, either, but it had a CD (nsc) attached with rubber cement and a price sticker that I will have to carefully remove at some point...
fantastic reading - great pics, too. That one with Keith and the limo and the bottle of Jack at the airport is fantastic!!

from their website (uncut.net)...
Keith Richards
To celebrate the 60th birthday of the most rock'n'roll rock'n'roller who ever graced a stage, Uncut presents a 28-page Keef extravaganza. There are two exclusive new interviews with Keith, one in London, the other New York. Every Rolling Stone past and present, from Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts and Ron Wood to Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor, sings his praises. Chrissie Hynde talks about being a female Keith acolyte. Dr Hank Wangford explains the secret of his survival. And former Sounds journalist John Ingham recalls a tense encounter backstage in 1976.
The Rolling Stones with the release of their sensational Four Flicks DVD, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ron Wood talk to Uncut about life on the road in the 21st century

I hope it's available in the U.S. soon. I have been going to the book store every chance I get...still no luck. |

like I said, I bought it - and I live in LA. It was the last one the newstand owner said that they had, or would get.
there are a few of these big stands that I go buy regularly, so I will see if they have more, and I will pick them up if I see them.

I just went to Hastings, Barnes & Noble, et al. They still have December's issue up. But, you're on the coast...and I am in Oklahoma...it usually takes longer. |

The issue with (I believe) the Clash on it is still on stands here. |

Q: what's your favorite jagger vocal?
Keith's reply:
He's done great ones... then there's one like Torn and Frayed on which he brings out this country thing... we should do it more often on the road. When I hear that song, I think, "Shit, did I write that?"

but my favorite part is when Keith says...
"What I'd really like is to do a record just as we finish a tour. That's difficult because everybody wants to just flake out and go home. But that's when the band is really well-oiled. That's one of my dreams. But I don't know if we'll ever do it."
amen.

It truely IS a special interview with Keith though.
For example...
Interviewer;

Interviewee (keitheroyd);
